What do we live for?

You may not learn new stuff from this and this is solely my own opinion, so read at your own risk.

What do you live for? Some people live to work, when some people work to live. Some people believe that they have a purpose throughout their life, when some people think that they are born just because of some cell aggregations. Maybe it’s the ultimate question among Philosophers. Will they ever find the ultimate answer for the ultimate question? Life is a ridiculous “thing”. While some people would sacrifice their "precious" life for the answer, some people just couldn’t care less. So it looks like it's not an important question nor an unimportant one. Mathematicians say everything can be formulated by mathematical functions. But how could different values be equal to each other? Does it mean life is beyond our logical perception or something utter illogical? Does it mean there’s a third side to right and wrong? Does life, itself, have his ultimate purpose? Why do things always have two sides? Does one simply leave “the life”, when they are no longer two-sided? Why did the enlightened one, Buddha, leave the life, when he was regarded as very powerful and spiritual person? Did he no longer become two-sided? or did he fulfill his own purpose? So does the purpose make us one sided? Isn’t trying to fulfill one’s own purpose, purpose itself? I know a man who looks worse than a hobo, but he doesn’t accept money from other people for nothing, instead he sells candies. He is very happy with his life. Isn’t he pursuing his own purpose? isn’t he fulfilled his purpose already? or does he simply just love “the life”.
